New Barbados Ambassadors Named by admin

July 30, 2010: As Barbados gets ready for its Crop Over Celebrations this weekend, the country has named two new ambassadors to the U.N., Venezuela and Belgium. Two senior officers in the Public Service and a veteran Trade Unionist are Barbados` latest Ambassadors. Joseph Goddard is the new Permanent Representative to the United Nations while Samuel Chandler and Sandra Phillips as the new Ambassadors of Barbados to Belgium and Venezuela respectively. Ambassador Goddard has been a leader in the National Union of Public Workers (NUPW) and an active contributor to regional trade unionism for almost three decades.
